Race, Disability and Sex Discrimination claims | Actions against the Police

The Equality Act 2010 makes it unlawful for a public body to discriminate against an individual, whether that be based on race, disability or gender.   We are experienced in advising on claims where during your treatment with a public body you have been treated more unfavourably due to a particular issue.

Examples of Claims:

  • Reasonable adjustments have not been made for your disability whilst in police custody
  • A police officer treats you unfavourably due to your race
